Sunday School

Sunday School is a year-round venture and we have classes for all ages and stages. Classes meet from 9:45 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. on Sunday mornings. 

 
Teachers are volunteers who give their time and talents.  Please read the descriptions of the classes, visit as many as you’d like and find one that meets your needs!  If you have questions or would like to contact a teacher, please email or call Tonya Kenner in the church office (tonyafumc@fewpb.net, 502-227-7430).
 
Children's Classes meet in the Wesley Center.
Nursery and Toddlers
Preschool/Kindergarten
1st/2nd Grades
3rd/4th/5th Grades
 
Youth Classes meet in the Averill House.
Middle School
Senior High
 
Adult Classes
Chapel Class meets in Averill House.  They use the Adult Bible Studies series from Cokesbury and is taught by various members of the class.  They go out to eat as a group every second Friday of the month. 
 
Covenant Class meets in the Averill House.  Tonya Kenner and Kari Williams teach this class.  Members are both single and married in their 40's and 50's.  They use different study books.
 
Friendship Class meets in the library of the Todd House.  It is a mixture of all ages and stages of life.  The teachers are Judie Blake and Bill Elam.  They use study books.  They have one social event a month on the third Thursday evening.
 
Upper Room Class meets in the Wood Parlor of the Todd House.  It is a class for all ages and studies different topics and books of the Bible.  Bill Newman is the teacher.
 
Ignite Sunday School Class meets on the second floor of the Todd House.  They are mainly young parents ages 30-40.
 
Men's Sunday School Class meets on the second floor of the Todd House.  John Paul Broderson is the teacher they have open/friendly discussions on a lot of topics but the goal is to seek a closer relationship with Christ.
 
Kavanaugh Sunday School Class meets in the Chapel.  This senior adult class includes men and women and uses the Adult Bible series from Cokesbury.  Marcele Noell teaches this class.
 
Class Acts meets in the balcony room above the sanctuary and is made up of singles and couples ages 25-40.  They uses various study books.
 
The Sunshine Class meets in the Wesley Center and is made up of special needs adults and is taught by Carolyn Fetter, Shirley Middleton and Polly Jo Green.  They use the Adult Bible series from Cokesbury.
 
The Sage Class is an all women class and meets on the second floor of the Wesley Center.
 
The Open Door Class meets on the second floor of the Wesley Center.  Men and women of all ages, single or attached are members of this class.
